We have set up our dental practice on the 6th of June 1991, naming it "A.F. Stomatologie 2D" when we bought our first building in Arad, no.1, Ludovic Szantay str. (former Săvineşti). We have had it completely repaired (repartitioning of the space, modification of the electrical circuits, of the natural lighting system, employment of new appliances, finishing cuts, tiles, box for the biocontaminated medical wastes) at the same time endowing it with the necessary dental equipment, means of communication, furniture, etc. Read more about us...
We have officially opened our first dental practice on the 9th of March 1992, where we have practiced until 30th of March 2002. Since 2002 this dental office has been used by young colleagues until they have founded their own dental practices (dr. Iulian Tîrcă, dr. Nicoleta Anghel, dr. Florin Groza). Now, the dental practice is reserved by dr. Alexandru Todor.
In 1993 we have tooled up our dental practice with a Personal Computer and the necessary accessories. Starting with October 1993 all the patients’ and practice’s medical and financial records were computerized, by using the Stoma PC programme for keeping records, followed by Stoma for Windows programme. Both programmes were designed by ing. Gheorghe Petrov, design to which we participated at as well as beneficiaries and analists. All data is saved weekly on digital support, with the possibility of being consulted by those entitled to, at any time.
Due to the increasing number of patients coming to us for treatments and because of the emerging regulations, required for preparing Romania's EU accession, the first dental practice gradually became insufficient. For these reasons in 1999 we purchased the second building at the same address, found in an advanced state of degradation, which during a year, between March 2001 - March 2002 we have demolished, rebuilt, finished and have arranged to high standards on 3 levels (semi-basement, high ground and attic), all thanks to the professionalism, efficiency and talent of Ion Gârleanu construction engineer.
At the design and construction of the new building a significant personal contribution was brought by: Lucia M. Juşca - architect (architectural design), Ilie Cotor - engineer (geotechnical study), Cziszter Kalman - engineer (technical expertise), Aurelian F. Rogoz –engineer (resistance project), George Ghiţă - engineer (project supervisor) and Antoniu I. David – economist (investment accounting).
This new building complies with all legal regulations of Romania and the E.U, ending in March 30th 2002 when it was opened festively. At the ground floor is arranged the main dental office, waiting room and toilets for the patients and staff. In the semi - basement are all technical annexes necessary from epidemiologic point of view: box for cleaning products, disinfecting room, sterilization room, laundry & dryer room, central heating, water supply tank, water filters, archive, dressing room for the nurses, etc.
In the attic, during 2001 - 2005 has functioned the Headquarters of the Banat Regional Branch of AMSPPR, representative national association, as well as the local secretariat of the AMSPPR president during the 2001-2006 mandate. In 2005, we conducted a second overhaul of our first building (roof, insulation, carpentry, boiler, etc.).
In 2006 we began arranging / decorating for dentistry in the attic space (dressing room for dentists, shower room for dentists, technical box, specific facilities, finishes, furniture, air conditioning, etc.). In 2007 the third dental office in the attic was equipped with all necessary dental equipment. Since 2008 we started to use as needed by our patients, in the extra working hours the third dental office in the attic.
The high quality imagining, designing, building and fitting during 2001 - 2002 of a whole new building with dentistry as exclusive purpose, was a national first in terms of investments in private dentistry.
With our new facilities and dental offices located in the new building we have created a pleasant climate and a friendly environment for all our patients, optimizing all the functional circuits, special working conditions for staff, compliance with existing epidemiological laws, compatibility with good organization and good practices of the European Union dental offices.
